Traditional handmade kitchen in Aldeburgh
Traditional handmade kitchen in Aldeburgh with us
A tradition country style kitchen fitted in Aldeburgh, Suffolk. This pretty period cottage in the Suffolk coastal town Aldeburgh, has beam and brick features and so the kitchen was designed with a warm and traditional look in keeping with the style of the home. We and the customer are really pleased with how this traditional handmade kitchen project went. It’s now a lovely house with a lovely kitchen in the lovely town of Aldeburgh.
The shaker kitchen was handmade with softened curved edges and cupboards and a central island unit for food preparation with breakfast bar seating at one end.
The worktops and up stands are ‘Ivory Fantasy’ granite, with the kitchen units hand painted in ‘Mushroom’ coloured paint from Little Greene, a classic and gentle colour with a hint of red oxide for warmth.
A matching unit was also fitted to the adjoining room, with a solid oak top. All units are finished with high quality pewter handles and knobs.
The areas behind the Aga were tiled in beautifully crafted English hand painted clay tiles, with a crackle glaze finish.
The Debenvale team carried out all plumbing, plastering, tiling and electrics which included moving the TV socket and connecting of all lights and appliances.
